THE GLASS STORE - Terms & Conditions


The Glass Store aims to deliver goods of the highest quality. From time to time we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due to certain items being unavailable, in which case we will advise you immediately. If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity to:
1) order an alternative,
2) have the products sent as soon as they become available or
3) to cancel the order.

All prices quoted are in British pounds sterling (£) excluding Value Added Tax (VAT) which will be added at the current rate during checkout. We make every effort to ensure the prices are accurate, however changes beyond our control do occasionally occur. If this happens we will contact you before shipping your order to gain your agreement to the revised price or to amend or cancel the order.

Orders are accepted at the sole discretion of The Glass Store and are subject to your credit or debit card being authorised for the transaction. All transactions are conducted through Paypal.

 
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of your order being placed. This will include your order number, GLASS Store contact details, a full list of the products you have ordered and all costs.

Every effort is taken to ensure that the information contained in this web site is correct and up to date. However, The Glass Store disclaims all warranties and representations as to the accuracy of any information contained if at any time it becomes inadvertently out of date or incomplete. The Glass Store cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from the use of this information.

Shipping And Handling
The Glass Store can only process orders to be delivered within mainland UK .

For all orders to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of  Man, Channel Islands, Eire and International destinations, please email GLASS Store or phone the GLASS Store on 07973 485625 to receive exact post and packing costs. If you live in any these areas, we apologise for the inconvenience.

We use the most cost effective method of delivery to keep costs down.

Delivery Schedule
Most orders are made to order to keep our costs down, so dispatch could take up to 14 working days.  If there is likely to be a delay we will inform you as soon as possible.

Tax Charges
All prices are shown in UK pounds and VAT will be added at checkout at the current rate.

Returns Policy
On receipt of your order, please inspect your item/s for defects.  If you should find your order is not satisfactory due to quality or damage, please contact the GLASS Store within 48 hours of receipt. 
Before returning goods you must advise GLASS of your intention by telephoning 07973 485625 otherwise the returned goods will not be accepted. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. GLASS will replace the product or refund the price of the product.  However, if the item/s is out of stock, you will be informed. GLASS shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, cleaning or misuse. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you have requested an exchange (e.g. wrong size ordered) you will also be responsible for the cost of packing and postage for the exchange item/s.

 

Prices
The prices quoted are those ruling at the time. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax. The correct price will be shown on your delivery note. All prices shown are cash prices in sterling.  We reserve the right to accept or reject orders.

 

 

Data Protection
All personal information you provide to GLASS including but not limited to your name, your postal and e-mail addresses, other contact details as well as order, delivery and billing information will be maintained as part of our customer records for the purposes of receiving payment and making delivery. This information will be stored in a secure database pending completion of the transaction. Once the transaction has been completed the necessary information needed for accounting purposes will be securely archived, with all other personal details being deleted. Declaration when taking out GLASS Subscription

I understand that if I participate in any event or activities organised by the Association, I do so entirely of my own free will and will not hold the Association, its officers or individual members responsible for any damage to my vehicle and/or injury to person(s) however caused.  I will also advise all that accompany me of the element of risk and accept responsibility for their conduct/behaviour.  There is always present a risk of damage or injury with motor activities.  Responsibility and common sense are key factors in laning. All members are advised that if in doubt, stop and ask if it is the safest option.
